I am just.
I am the executioner.
I revel in the day, the sun so bright.
I revel in the dark, hiding from sight.
I am sun.
I am moon.
I’m losing the fight, I’m going to fall.
I’m going to win, I will be standing tall.
I am slipping.
I am in control.
I will restore the balance once more.
I will fight to again to open the door.
I will be again.
I will not give up.
Two sides controlling one,
And the fighting will never be done.
I am duality.
I am balance.

As always, the thoughts of duality are on my mind. I've been wanting to write something about and well I finally did. I just sort of typed this thing out (as I always do). I guess this was also brought about due to the tattoo that I want (and will get). It's the word Angel and on either side are beautiful angelic wings, but when flipped upside down it reads Devil and the wings turn into horns (it was either this or the word Love and when flipped it says Evil). For me, it represent how I view myself. I am a person of two minds, and I would have it no other way.
Duality is also an awesome song (Slipknot) and an awesome album! (RA). |
